Oak Ridge Preschool
For Oak Ridge Preschool students who end their day at noon on Wednesdays and at 2:00 p.m. the rest of the week, families may utilize the Blossom Center for the after‑school preschool program. Blossom Center uses The Creative Curriculum, which supports children in developing age‑appropriate math and literacy skills, as well as social‑emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Before and After School
Blossom Center’s program is not “just a baby-sitting service.” Unlike other childcare services, Blossom Center’s program is academically orientated. It bridges the gap between home and school so educational outcomes are enhanced. Parents working long hours will have peace of mind because Blossom Center offers homework completion and tutoring services that enhance educational outcomes. Children 4 to 10 years of age are eligible.
Summer and Holidays
Through our full time summer, fall, winter, and spring break programs—Blossom Center provides a safe, academically enriching environment that is engaging to children outside of school. Programs are based on the Oak Ridge City Schools calendar. Programs also available during all public holidays when schools are closed.
